Andrew Shirk is a software engineer and architect with 20 years of experience and the founder of City Health, a healthcare technology company building AI-powered tools for measurement-based care and clinical documentation. City Health’s products help behavioral health providers turn patient-reported outcomes into actionable data that can improve care, strengthen documentation, and support the shift toward outcomes-based reimbursement.
Andrew is also the owner of the IntakeQ Power Users Facebook Group, a special-interest discussion space for IntakeQ and PracticeQ users of all skill levels to geek out, exchange ideas, troubleshoot workflows, and share creative ways to get more out of the EHR.
Before founding City Health, Andrew worked on electronic patient-reported outcome systems at the UNC School of Medicine and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, helping implement technology to reduce the burden of collecting and using outcomes data in routine care.
