A New Normal: Lactation Through Divorce and Custody

Kristin Cavuto, LCSW, IBCLC
Course description
Many families with nursing babies will experience parental breakups, divorce, and custody negotiations. The lactation professional is often called upon to provide information, support, and advocacy throughout this process. This class will give the provider the information they need to care for the family during this difficult transition.

Learners say

Being new to private practice, I haven't yet helped a client navigate separation/custody. Thankfully, Kristin taught me first and foremost that assessing my own personal biases and trauma is the first step towards providing this support to my clients. What a valuable presentation!
